Default 2 Fault codes on the VAG.

Soft code:Random cylinder misfire.
Hard code: cylinder 2 misfire.

Would replacing the coil pack with ecs's oe pack solve this problem? Cleared the code to see if it comes back which most likely will, and how hard is to install the pack? TIA

From a scale from 1-10...its a 1! I'd try changing the spark plug first...

Default Also consider swapping a coil pack from another cylinder to see if the misfires follow it.

Also a good fuel injector cleaner may not hurt, this is standard stuff for me, so I'm not sure how well your car is kept.

Maybe it won't even come back.

I prefer Redline's FI cleaner. Pep Boys should carry it.
