Default Jeezz you guys are touchy...BTW after you guys left Derek ripped off a 13.8 (m)

not bad eh? And you're right Kev, I did back off. After I saw how mad C got after the first run I thought "Hey, I'll go easy on the domestic, it's only 2 lap dances" :b

Default 13.8

Are you sure that was his lane? He was 7 car lengths back on my runs with my torn vacuum hose. Or was someone pushing him from behind? I don't recall that much tail wind...

Default No, he was driving my car! He tied Motor Trend's numbers for both the S4 (m)

and his 328. The kid is Mario Freakin Andretti or something.

Default 13.8???? Did he leave the transmission at the track?

Did he go for the 7k RPM launch?

Default I didn't ask, I don't want to know. I am still shaking; after that A6 (m)

blew its clutch, Kevin and his bypass valves, I thought for sure I would see white smoke billowing from the engine bay and go three for three for Audi at Firebird.

no way.... you mean that kid we were talking to earlier? In the silver A6 that was running ~14.7?

That is why I quit after 3 runs.... a little abuse is OK.... but I am not going to grenade my car for an extra tenth in the quarter.

Default Actually, my color challenged friend, the A6 was white, (had to get you back) (m)

and he fried his clutch in the first run. 2000 miles on the engine, doh! Bought last Sunday. I would be a little upset. 14.7 is good after frying your clutch halfway down the track, no?

Hey Kev, by Fri Nate should have his chipped, come on out and I will show you what kind of numbers your car *should* be putting down. Your just lucky I have the 328 and not an M coupe...otherwise it would be a clinic not a race.

See ya Fri.....D

doh... that sucks.... in observance of that loss, I am not even going to make a witty comeback about running the same time as your buddy's bimmer on my first run (that would be the one where I missed 3rd gear).

Oops... couldn't help myself... Have to admit, 15.1 out of a 328 is pretty respectable.

LOL that was a great time, definitely need to go do that again... hopefully with a few more mods... underdrives are on the way!
