Default 2000 model ECU

are there 2 different ECU types for 2000 model cars?
if so how do you tell them apart using VIN #

Default Yes one for 6 speed and 1 for tip

You can just look at the last letter on the ecu box..."A" is for 6 speed" and "B" is for tip models.
