Been searching for solution to my S4 ECU question.

My 2001.5 S4 blew its turbos and I replaced them with k04s a little over a year ago. When I bought this car, it had an APR programmed chip for stock K03s.

I've experienced less than smooth acceleration from 2700 rpm to 4000 rpm.

I have dahlbeck racing diverter valves, 2.5" exhaust (I think that is the diameter), silicone TBB, K04s and recommended intake pipes (came with turbos).

Been told I need fuel injectors and different fuel pump and an appropriate ECU for the K04s.

Any suggestions on ECUs or other components.

I live in Colorado and looking for high altitude solution with existing and cost effective upgrades.

Reasonable performance boosts with limited impact on vehicle longevity is my goal.

I just had my Ecu done by Mike at Vast for a high altitude base tune and I will have Avolon in Denver dial it in. You may just wanna call Avolon and see what they can do. With fuelong you will get the most out of your K04 set up. I went with the Rs4 airbox and Y pipe for my K04's. For fueling I have the Bosch ev52 injectors and a 340lph fuel pump/kit. I also live at 8150 ft in Vail.
