2001 vs 2002 S4
Friends,
I have been driving a 1999.5 A4 for a few years am in the market for a 2001 or 2002 S4. I am surprised at the number of them. And the range in price is quite remarkable for cars similarly equipped and with similar mileage. Are there any significant differences between the 2001 and 2002 versions that would make one model year more desirable than the other? Are there any particular mechanical/electrical issues that I should ask a seller about?
Many thanks,
David S

The mid year 2001 and 2002 models are pretty much the same IIRC.
Some of the 2000 models report problems with the F-hose and oil inlet lines to the turbos. You can find a lot more info on the differences in the search tool.
