Default 2006 S4 OEM BBS CH centercap (BWW)...

I noticed that the '06 S4s have an optional wheel that is the BBS CH with an Audi centercap. That got me thinking that perhaps since my wheels (and centercaps) are made by BBS for Abt, the centercaps might be interchangeable.

So I had my local VW dealership look up the part number and order me one.

Unfortunately, the Audi cap is quite a bit bigger than the one for my Abt wheels.

If I remove the metal retaining ring from the Audi cap, it will snap into the Abt wheel, but it sits on top the wheel instead of flush like the BBS cap and doesn't look that good.

It does, however, fit nicely into the center of the stock wheels, if someone preferred the exposed bolt look (personally I don't like it that much).

If anyone wants me to measure the Audi cap to see if it would work for their aftermarket wheels or if you want me to send it to you to test fit, let me know.

And if anyone knows of an Audi centercap that would fit in the Abt wheels, please fill me in.

Default Just took a rough measurement with a ruler (no calipers handy)...

The Audi centercap appears to be about 68mm in diameter.

The Audi cap looks good the way it is on the ABT wheel.

Default What's that part number on the new S4's BBS center cap?

I can't quit make it all out?

Default Doesn't look too bad but the way its sitting, its not too secure.

I'd be worried that a big bump would send the centercaps flying.
