235/40/18 Vs 235/35/18....

What is the best tire size? What are the advantages with each? Most people seem to go with the 40's, why? Thanks

235/35/18 will be off by a lot more (4%?) on the speedo. Also, prepare for dent-o-rama.

Because 235/35 is only offered on Pilots (MXX3 and Sports) and I think Pirelli's

YOKO addicted

235/35/18 are the perfect S4 mount on 18/8 wheels, if you are not yokohama or S02PP addicted(only 235/40/18), go for Pirelli PZERO or Michelin Sport(235/35/18).

I have another set of 18/8.5 and I perfer 245/35/18 on Yoko AVS sport.

This is my small personnel experience, you better ask a specialist.
