Is a 235/45/17 ill-advised on stock 17" Avus' ?
I've order a set of Pirelli P Zero Nero M/S in 235/45/17 and i'm wondering if I should've just stayed with the stock size. Do the pro's outweigh the con's? Is wider/taller better?
Stock suspension for another month or so.

stock suspension should be fine... but what are you looking to install?
suspension and ride height is VERY critial with these cars and tire width. goodyear GS-D3's in 235/45 17 rubs on stock... so give us more details and we'll help you out.

A good amount of people run that size...in fact Sumitomo HTR Z in that size will be on my car as of
Saturday morning. Granted, I'm running an 8" wide wheel, but you'll be fine. The stock wheel width is about as skinny as I'd go for a 235 tho.
