25mph exit ramp+rain+EPC light=dirty boxers!!
What the hell!! EPC light came on and I almost took the car offroading!! Managed to save it and pulled over while the idle oscillated back and forth..Turned the car off and now it seems fine? But what gives? Too lazy to STFA so anwers now please...

come on.....i have a sh!tty RWD traction control system in my lexus and ive never soiled myself
your abs should still work and at 25 mile an hour you should be able to drive anything....its rain not a mad snow storm....come and borrow my lexus for a week, and ill borrow the parts i need for my S4 to get my CPO warrenty to swap my turbos and we will see who has dirty boxers after some rain or snow storm

Don't know if EPC is similar to the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) in my A6, but if it is.....
*any* loss of traction or wheelspin will cause the system to pull throttle.
Any time I am pulling out into traffic on a wet road, or cornering agressively and using the throttle to control steering, it is mandatory that ESP be switched off.
IMHO it is too agressive in that it comes on with the slightest loss of traction, and then stays on for two or three seconds - just enough time to pull out into busy traffic and lose all power.
