2nd times a charm. 2 Re install of clutch and its still not disengaging
Ok: so the saga begins on with a burnt out stock clutch on a 2001 A6 2.7L Turbo ( I realize this is an S4 forum but you guys are much smarter than those I have spoken with in the A6 forums)
Anyway- Soon After chipping with the APR 1 Bar. the clutch slipped up pretty good so I fugured an upgraded clutch would not be a bad idea. I bounced for the Clutchmasters Stage 3 Carbon Kevlar Kit. (Anyone familiar with this kit?)
The work got done by a 10yr veteran euro tech I know with a shop that is very familiar with AUDI's. The car got put back togehter and the first day the engagement was right off the floor (mostly undrivable)the next day it would not disengage at all and would not go into gear it would also creep forward with the pedal to the floor and the car in gear or while starting. NOT GOOD>
So we took it all back apart and checked everything!!
Notes: The Pedal presure was fine so its not the master or slave/ hydrolics.
The Throwout bering was replaced as well
We even re checked the stepping measurements of the flywheel to make sure it was within spec..We machined it down a bit more and re-measured 8 times before re-installing.
Well after buttoning up the car again the same problem persists. It will not disengage and I cant get it in gear... SO what gives>>>???? Could the flywheel still need more material cut off from the friction surface to accomidate the stage three C/K clutch. I am still using the stock flywheel ( thats ok right )
We are now in the process of tearing the car back down and removing the Flywheel and clutch kit to send it all to the clutchmasters shop in CA so they can figure out what the deal is.
Any ideas are welcome..........

*pressure plate (i ment )= the problem .. and i hope it's not the old flywheel .
so get yourself a FULL clutch kit pp/friction disc.
also bleed the slave , even replace it , it's pretty cheap .

it should be ok if it's resurfaced well.. that 's what i also use .
it sounds like the pp is not disengaging ..bc it's defective or the slave cyl does not press enough on it to work ..
my 2 cents
