Default Great! Thanks for the reply. As far as your question and comment...

Yes, the holes were drilled.

Like I said, its dark out so I couldn't confirm that both shocks are in fact blown. I can say within a pretty good amount of certainty that the driver's side is (there was more light on that side, and I could see the shock covered in grease). The passenger's side of the car seemed to bob up and down rather dramaticallym like the driver's side, when I pressed on the fender, but I couldn't really get a good enough look at it in the dark to see if it looked as bad as the driver's side.

If you don't mind, I can email you with pics and more info tomorrow. I purchased the coilovers from Achtuning, so I wasn't sure if I had to go through them, or if I could just contact you. Thanks again.

Hmm... ok, cool, I'll check all the bolts tomorrow, too. Can't hurt.

Default Never hurts to ask...but consider this...

you buy car parts at an autostore, and the parts turn up defective in a few months. So you bring the parts back and ask for a replacement under warranty. Do they install the replacements for you? Never. Not unless they put them in.

Your recourse...if you had achtuning install the parts, you can probably get the service end of their business to warranty the work since they sold the parts and installed the parts. But if you took possession of the parts and had someone else install them...that's the pitfall of sourcing your own parts and hiring someone to install them.

So ask, it can't hurt, but be realistic.

Default experiences like this are best dealt with the manufacturer of the part.>>

The only way labor could be covered is if you ordered the parts through your installer, who should have a warranty on their work. The installer may have a small deductable or may just eat the labor as they can write it off. That is why ordering an item for a "good deal" on the internet is not always a good deal. Good luck

Default its a nice policy but i woudln't say its "no problem". repairing and downtime suck as does the cost

of replacemnt transportation for a daily driver and labor cost for doing something twice (or more)...
i do applaud you tackling this head on.
