3rd Gear "Subtle Crunch"

First, I love the car. Just passed the 600 mile mark. Taking it easy on revs and exercising the engine gradually up to 80 mph. The car is just begging me to hit three digits. Which I will gladly oblige in just a bit.
I noticed a few of you mention this earlier...I seem to experience a very light crunch when upshifting into third gear. Very slight crunching sensation. It doesn't happen at harder revving, only during easy driving strangely enough. Some of you were intending on bringing the car into dealerships to check this symptom out. Could you let me know what happened?. I wouldn't want this to eventually mess up the transmission.
Thanks folks. Just got some Zymol - going to baby it next weekend.

I hope your problem does not "blossom" into what occured with my car. Mind crunched on 2 and 3 for a while then all hell broke loose.

I took the car to the dealer and first drove the Imola Yellow demo. It was worse than mine. Now I don't pay attention. I think some folks believe you could adjust this out or that it goes away with the UCC short-shifter. I can't confirm either of those ideas. -Pete

www.stratmosphere.com </a
