Minimization

225/45HR-17 M + S. As you know, I had two do this last winter for reasons unknown. They were covered under Michelin's 6 yr warranty though, but a PITA for sure. Ugh!!!

The tires have been great otherwise.

how long have you had the tires before the bubble?
As a precaution I would like to know a little about the Michelin warranty. Where did you find this and how did you go about claiming the problem?

Since I have the tires for the winter, I'm just taking the necessary precaution in an event that a bubble pops up.

Just threw one like that out...

tire, or from your purchase date if you have th receipt. If wear is minimal they won't pro-rate you. I found limited info. on their website. You have to report it to Michelin during business hours on the phone and get a claim number. Then bring the number and tire to an auth. Mich. dealer (doesn't have to be the place you bought them from). They will not want to help you but they have to if they are a dealer.

If the dealer finds evidence of impact at the bubble spot, you won't get the warranty. They'll ship one out to the dealer otherwise and th dealer gets reim. after sending the other one back.
