Default 4 Wheel Alignment

I installed my suspension last weekend so I went for a 4 wheel alignment this weekend (gave it about 500 miles to settle). The shop I went to uses a Hunter H111 alignment machine (I guess this isn't the top end model, but it seems to get the job done).

I just *barely* cleared the crossbar at the end of the ramps (my Milltek exhaust rubbed it slightly at the joint to the longer downpipe).

Here are the specs for the S4 according to the Hunter system (these do match the specs listed in the Bentley manual):

Here's the before measurements (I think the front right side toe is off due to a mishap involving a curb over the winter, but it could have been preexisting):

Here's the after measurements (front camber isn't adjustable):

Any comments?

Default Why so much rear toe?

Just curious why you would add toe to the rear instead of keeping it more neutral at or close to zero.

Default Well, the specs call for 0.13 +/- .08 degrees...

So mine is within that range (a bit towards the top end). Just came out that way.

Default Do you notice more understeer now?

I have found that zero rear toe makes the rear come around nicely, getting rid of a little Audi understeer.

He'd need toe links to dial that much.

Haven't really had a chance to push it too much since I had the alignment done. I'll have to test that out.

I can tell that the hyperco springs (450/500) took away some of the understeer (an the lack of tread left on my tires right now helps too :P )

I read 0.07 +/- 0.04. Anyway, that is a bit too much toe for me too. Don't like driving straight

Default 0.13 +/- 0.08 total (which is 0.07 +/- 0.04 each side)...

Mine falls within that range at 0.10 and 0.09 (left and right respectively).
