Default actually, an Audi tech once confided to me that the brake fluid replacement.......

is exactly what you stated. they siphon out the brake resevoir and refill it with new. no wheel removal, no bleeding, no problem. nice to know.

I broke that off doing a bi-pipe install...but with a bi-pipe you really don't need those bolts.

Also that timing cover is only $30 if you ever want to replace it later on.

Default I guess that's nice, but it doesn't get all the old fluid out.

Or did he imply that they can get all the old stuff out??? It's better than nothing, but jeez, it just seems like they're splitting hairs to save a few bucks and a few minutes time doing it right.
"Sure, we changed the fluid, just like Audi spec's us to do." I understand why, but I'm still not happy.

Thanks, actually I guilted them into fixing it. At least they did that much.

didn't imply that they could get all the old fluid out, but you're right about how Audi specs them.

exactly...if it wasn't a double-edged sword, then it would be much easier to shrug off tech blunders
