5HP24A dimensions compared to 5HP19FLA?

The 5HP24 seems like a more stout option since it comes in bigger HEAVIER cars with MORE power.
However. A built 5HP19FLA seems to serve the purposes in an S4. I have heard some transmission tuners say it is a good platform and they expect great things from it in the future. One thing to note is that when the Corvettes first came out. They would not offer the "power glide" automatic for cars with 270+HP claiming the transmission could not handle the power. That same tranmission in built form it the #1 choice of drag racers putting out HUGE HP numbers and single digit 1/4 mile times.
I also think there could be some issues installing it.
-Will it communicate with the ECU the same way the 5HP19FLA does?
-If it will communicate how hard is the wiring? Or is it plug and play?
-Seems that the bellhousing is the same. So the worst you would have to do is shorten a drive shaft. The 5HP19FLA fits in the S4 so snugly I am not sure the larger trans will fit at all. Downpipes, subframe, axle shafts, shift linkage etc.
-Lastly. All the Audi tech I have talked to say they see more problems with the 24 than the 19. So once it is all done it is possible that it may need built too.
