Default 6 yrs old too late for Stage 3?

Hi everyone,

I'm counting the days when my S4 turn 6 years old! Had the GIAC chip for most of the time (65K mi) and the only thing outside of normal is a pair of oil seals that had to be replaced, one near the turbos and another in the rear differential.

But now that I've started coveting an M5, I wanted to consider whether it (still) makes sense to go Stage 3 instead. It should be a lot cheaper, right?

I am not looking for the ultimate in HP, anything over 400 will do, but I do not want to sacrifice any driveability.

Any thoughts?

Oh, and the only caveat is that I'm probably the only B5 S4 in Beijing. Not sure what shop I'd use to do the conversion...

Default Not at all. I JUST picked up mine from WMS after getting AWE's stage3 kit installed...

...on my soon to be 6 year old S4 (bought in early Oct.99) with 58K miles on the clock.

Damn the car pulls hard.......and smooth!

Default Oh man.....its unbelievable how the car pulls now. I'd still be driving if I didn't...

...have to wake up early in the morning and go out with the fiance to run some erands. Intercoolers are going on in the next few days (hopefuly)! The clutch will take some getting used to, but I'm loving it. Honestly, I run out of road before the car runs out of powah! >

Default Thanks! There were still a quite a few cars parked on the lot....

.....I didn't notice exactly how many though. As soon as I pulled up the street, it was like I had blinders on. All I saw was my blue baby :P
