7 months later, & I finally installed the Meth kit...
been busy remodeling parts of the house so the car's been on the back burner as of late. So I decided to give her some attention this past weekend & finish installing the DevilsOwn water/methanol kit.
I must say, I'm impressed w/ the results so far. I wanted to get a baseline before I start adding timing so here are a few Logs (in white). Run is on 93 oct. w/ a 50-50 water/methanol mix, 0 timing added & no other tweaks. Temp was 84 deg. w/ 80% humidity & this was @ 9:00 pm ...welcome to SW FL summers. My logging was cut short due to traffic ahead & only made it to 6300 rpm, so I didn't get a clean fats run.
I don't have any before & after IAT logs because I'm a loser that still logs w/ Vag & doesn't have Ecu-x....I know, I know, that's my next purchase!...I'll try to get some logged here soon.
The logs in black are my most recent, identical setup except for the meth kit. I found that my fats & timing curve were always better when I pulled timing on X, so black logs had 1.5 deg of timing pulled through Lemmi & -16.8 Primary Fuel (5.38 fats). The Temp on that run was 71 deg....alot cooler, so the comparative is remarkable.
Now I'm gonna throw some timing @ this bish & see what I can squeeze out of her!

Giac-x w/ mbc in parallel set @18psi
Lemmi Settings -18% Primary Fuel / Timing set @ 0

congrats on the install, but dont you think IC would have been better before meth?
or is that just me.
or is it a $$ thing, how much was the kit? prolly half the price of a good set of IC....
