Default 94 Octane in NY??? Anyone know where?

I'm in Staten Island and I have been unable to locate 94 octane anywhere in my area. I have called all the Sunoco stations and they have stopped selling it.

Anyone???

Default Sunoco is the only place that usually does. Might need to throw some Toulene(sp)

in the tank and buy some 93 to get 94, but it will be over 94 then I think.

Default No longer available in all states. I think CT, NY, and MD have banned it.

Somehing about MTBE I believe. PA doesn't care about that stuff...heck, we are the landfill capital of the US, what's a few more MTBE's.

Come to NJ ... Sunoco stations on the Turnpike and Jersey City carry it.

Default Toluene, a major ingredient in gas, also used as paint thinner, but be careful (m)

According to a VP Fuels tech guy, it changes the burn ratio, which can cause damage if too much is used (think he said it burns a hole in the piston - wrote it down and my notes are in the car right now).

He also told me that it is 118 octane, not 114.

So I was mixing it a little strong on the last dyno run (Matt - I was probably at 104, not 102!).
