Default Did you end up changing your O2 sensors? I remember you saying that you had

the code 16805... and said you would change them to see if it came back. I keep getting the code as well... just wondering if that is the solution. Thanks

Default Going try to do it this weekend.

Tulipo on the forum has the same code and he changed his but the code came back about week or so later. I think he has bad cats in his DPs I hope thats not the case for us cause that would suck.

Default It really all comes down to how much you want to spend...

If i were you i would do the following:
Contact STaSIS engineering for brakes (alcon motorsports) and suspension (ohlins).
Also contact AWE Tuning or Autospeed for the rest. As far as turbo upgrades are concerned if you want to look into hybrid turbos such as RS6's, or K24's which have been known to provide more power then OEM k04's but sometimes lack on reliability. Hope that helps. Any other questions feel free to ask...

Default Would you like an '01 Avant to attach those parts to?

Nothing better than a Stage III wagon as your daily driver.

Default 996 tt X50 is an awesome car... I looked at getting one right after I picked my S4 up. But I was

already well into the upgrading of the S4.

My feeling is that with the right upgrades you can make a B5 S4 a very very complete and fun car.

There are a lot of very exciting options for the S4. The up coming GT kits should be very fast but most still have tuning issues to work out and the R&D on that side can take a fair amount of time.

The AWE stuff is good and should perform well for you out of the box. Some of the homebrew guys are doing some really amazing stuff with other fueling options but the problem going this way, is that there really is not a whole lot of support, at least that I know of.

As for suspensions, I would recommend STaSIS Motor Sports set up. The Ohlin's are really amazing. I am running some very heavy spring rate and my wife likes the ride better in the S4 then our RS6. If you plan to track the car a STaSIS center and rear LSD diff's make a huge difference in the balance with the on track performance of the car.

As for the brakes, the Stoptech are a fine set up and should perform well for you. I do prefer the Alcons as they a level better in quality and design IMO.

I track my S4 about 7 or 8 times a year and it has been in a few magazine shoot outs (not with me driving :^) Please feel free to e-mail me if you like and I would be happy to give you any info I can.

Also, Jason at STaSIS is a very helpful and knowledgeable person. Feel free to contact him as they were the ones who set up the suspension, gearbox and diffs on my car. Very good people.
