About to take my car for the first time to the dealer, any advice on getting them on my good side?

The valve cover gasket is leaking oil, the trunk shocks dont lift (minor, dont care if they can't fix it), one headlight washer is stuck up, which requires removal of the front bumper. I'd obviously like them to do a good job, so I was thinking of putting two six packs of good beer in the trunk and telling them I left something for the guys who work on the car + the service manager there. Good idea, or will they be offended at the "bribe?"
Also I want them to try to get rid of the door seal creaking and the glove box rattle...

Then if they merit it later, show your thanks in a way that:
- echoes your personality (otherwise they will see it is bullsh!t)
- is appropriate for what was delivered.
Previous suggestions:
letter to service manager (or owner) showing true appreciation for a good job
gift certificate to service advisor/writer for lunch at local place - they get to share with crew and look good to all
some folks say beer is the best, but I did that once and it turns out the new service advisor doesn't drink!! (tech was happy apparently).
Go in quietly and figure it out.
Audi's are understated - so should you be! (tuesday night philosophy)

going to give a gift, give it (or at least let them know they are going to get it) before they start the work.

don't budge an inch until your satisfied.
it's a profit center for the dealer...not a charity.
and they usually don't give a flying fluck if your mildly peaved. you need to get really pissed sometimes.
this 'aint just Audi service. although i've had relatively good experiences with the "service" side of my Audi ownership experience. it was the automobile that was teh suck.
