ABS Controller is fried. Going to get it repaired. Can I drive the car with it out?

Default ABS Controller is fried. Going to get it repaired. Can I drive the car with it out?

I mean, it doesnt work right now anyways, but will the car drive with the controller unit out?

Is this ABS failure related to your numerous accidents?

Dont believe so. Its due to faulty Audi engineering

you mean faulty bosch engineering. Bosch makes and designs the units.

Fair enough. These types of items are not wear items and thus should not fail. Not after 4 years

True dat ... heat is an issue with frying the ecus. My friend works at the Bosch ABS facility in SC

Default Are you serious? Controller unit and pump are one piece...

and the pump is part of the brake circuit.

Default IMO, easiest route is to find someone that has a bad one to lend you

Send that one off to Module Masters and then give him your bad one once you swap them. Maybe buy him a few beers for the favor :-)
