Default ABS Controller questions

Finally sending my ABS module out to module masters, but I have a couple questions.

When removing the ECU from the ABS pump, is it absolutely necessary to remove the windsheild washer tank? That is a PITA.

Also, can the car be driven once the ECU is removed? I'm assuming yes. I'm not talking regualar driving, just shop to home, home to shop.

Please note, when I say ECU I'm talking about the ABS ECU, not the engine computer. Thanks.

Default As far as I can tell, you must take out the washer fluid tank

it's not that bad really. You can drive the car without the ABS controller in. There was a write-up on here where the person doing it wrapped up the harness to protect it from the elements and drove it around without the ecu. However, this does require putting everything back together and taking it apart an additional time which is a pita. When I did it, I left the car parked and unassembled. Keep in mind that you don't have ABS when you drive around without the controller, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Default I see

Unfortunately for me, I'm most likely going to be forced to put the washer tank back in then pull again for reinstall.

Or else, I gotta find a ride home :-( Denver to Boulder.

Default I just did all that

It's really not as hard as it might seem. I pulled mine out this weekend, took maybe an hour and a half while taking my time. I had to replace my washer fluid pump anyway. Car drives absolutely fine without the ABS controller (other than not having working ABS)
