Default ABS Problem Help please - VAG Results inside...

Eariler on I posted my problem of the ABS light coming on and the parking brake light flashig at me. The problesm is NOT constant and goes on and off randomly (I don't know if something I do makes it come on or off)

The ABS works fine when the warning lights are NOT on, and I have no ABS when the lights ARE on.

So, I broke down and bought a VAG COM - Here is what it told me, and hopefully someone can offer a solution:

P1606 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 03: ABS Brakes
Controller: 8E0 614 111 A
Component: ABS/EDS 5.3 QUATTRO D10
Coding: 0273004284
Shop #: BB 24334
1 Fault Found:

Thanks,

Mark

you have bad ABS Control Unit, get it rebuilt by Module Master for $250, I did it and it works great
