X vs AMS with turbo back exhaust, RS4 ic's (I should have mentioned this *wink*). 3rd gear pulls:
AMS ~420 rpm/s on 1.2bar, timing mid to high teens
X ~510 rpm/s on 1 bar, timing high teens to mid 20s
and knocked 7/10ths off 3rd gear pull (I'll relog it after I got boost back up to 1.2)
I'm gonna stick with X
in my configuration OWNZ = OWNZ end of story

x = ownz your turbos :p and I agree with you completely
I have yet to see an X chip walk on an abt car - i mean they are hairs apart usually. Course XR is different but X vs ABT seems about dead even.

Although what K04 and 2k2 are saying is probably true about stage 1/2 X vs AMS since I was running a stage 1 AMS chip with a stage 2++ setup so the timing wasn't nearly as aggressive. But I'm also running an MBC so hopefully X will NOT own my turbos 
But all the more reason to finally move to K04's.
