Default VAG it. It might tell what you what's up.

Mine didn't work when I bought my car- turned out it was a bad pressure switch.

Default Instead of connecting to the ECU there is a option

for climate control (08 auto hvac)- scan that one for codes.

Or with either vag-com or prodiag there is an auto scan option. It will connect to any computers and then report back to you what it found.

I should have typed VAG-COM instead of just VAG in my first reply.

Default thanks for the info - I think my evap core is fried...but worth checking (rant)

I mean, it's not like I replaced the same part on my Corrado...and my 90Sport...and my 96 A4 (that one went twice). Of course all these cars are out of warranty when this happens. It's no big deal...you just have to completely disassemble the car in order to fix it.

I love my German (VAG) cars, but their A/C is out of control ****ty. You would figure that they might use some internal QC to prevent this type of failure over a period of decades...but they all seem to have the same lame *** design.

If the evap core goes in my wife's 03 allroad, I'll never buy an Audi again...well at least not
until the price comes down a little on those B7 RS4's Face it...there is no cure.

ahh.. air conditioning is overated anyway. Just robs power (almost 100 degrees outside as I type)
