Default ac leaking on floorboard, lots of H2O

whenever i run my ac, i get not a lil moisture, but an abnormally amount of water that leaks onto my floorboard, soaks the front and rear floorboard, that just shows how bad it leaks, its come to the point to where i dont ever try to use the AC. any suggestions?

That doesn't sound right. There is no way the a/c could cause that much water to condense in the car. Is it both sides of the car that are getting water in them or just one?

Yeah, that sounds like an awful lot of water. But if it is the ac, there should be a clog in the drain system leading it to backup. I've only repaired that on GM cars.

Saw the same thing on my parent's Honda Accord - the drain for the catch under the condenser gets clogged up and the catch overflows.

the compressor is connected the the...condenser bone....the condenser bone's connected to the....

aww damn it, you're right again. Evaporator it is.

yea, its a lot oh water and its only on the driver passenger side. once the ac is on, its almost a constant drip

I know what that problem is.. Remove the side panels on both side of the console. You need to move the seats all the way back and tilt them up as far as they go. Remove the screws that holf the panel in place. After you remove the panels on both sides..look up under the dash towards the back you will see an orange tube ..clean it out. If you have an air hose blow into the top tube where the orange hose connects. Then repace and do the other side. They clog up and when they do the condesation fills up and starts to leak and spmetimes comes out of the vents...
