When viewed from the end of the RJ-11 (telephone) connector the pins you need are:
2nd from left is +12V
3rd from left is GND
I recommend you put an inline fuse (3 amp) on the power lead or connect to an unused fuse in the fusebox.

The advantage of this over the DIY telephone wire suggested below is that it comes with a remote mute button. I mounted mine just to the right of the center console, just behind the windshield wiper controls. So, I don't have to move my hands far from the steering wheel to mute the detector.

Plug the spade connector into the fuse box and wire the ground loop to a screw or bolt and then all you have to do is tuck the wires between the A-pillar/headliner and the windshield.
