ACNA Thunder Hill Event...

Ran flawlessy, I pushed the braking pretty far but could get it to threshold well...
but man I just happened to be the first car coming down the back straight into turn 14 (100+) that had to brake on a large/long oil slick, hello ABS and tail wag. The intercoolers suck, heat soak is brutal on these cars, even in milder weather. I am dying for some Stasis suspension and most importantly a rear bar, probably the Neuspeed 19mm bar is first on the menu for handling goodies. Wait 2 weeks and hopefully I'll have the Sideline Photo CD cause there are some pictures that show the body roll and pitch, it made for some wild looking pictures, the rear outside wheel essentially dissapeared into the wheel well when accelerating out of corners. There were some badarse pics you'll love! I'll send 'em over.
The car ran beautifully to the track and drove her home without a hitch. There is a ton of pad compound on the rotors which means vibration on hard braking, but aside from that no big deal.
Here's a snazzy picture Javad took:

Awesome.
The car has so much potential. Heat soak is definitely an issue, I witnessed this the couple times I had it on a dyno (unbelievable, actually, how much power loss occurs from this).
Suspension defintely sounds like it's ready for upgrading if the car will see more than a commute to work and Home Depot runs. ;-) Should be niiiiiiice with STaSIS mounted up.
Look foward to Sideline's photos (were Mike and Leslie both there?).

We can source the whole Pagid Race/Sport line of pads here actually...
What compound are you looking for? I've found that there are no orange pads for our S4 B5's, the next step from blue up is the yellow which is an enduro pad. I may try the enduro pads for Laguna as the blues did not my heavy foot and higher speeds, they were always there but I would like a more aggressive compound.
Just let me know what you are looking for and I can help.
Cheers,

on the street, oranges squeal a lot worse than blues. at least in my StopTechs.

Alex - Good meeting you, had a great time and I am looking forward to Lagua
I figured your rotors would be toast, the end of the second day your braking points got shorter and harder.
oh and don't make me look bad at Laguna!!! :^)
