Default adjusting the sac spring in a rs4 pp. Do the yellow springs just need to be compressed.

By pushing down the fingers and moving the grey piece on the inside it will compress the yellow springs?

I understand it is hard to press the fingers to get the sac to adjust in the correct place.

Do I have the correct idea or am I really off?

Default Moving the gray "ramps" will compress the yellow springs.

What you have pictured there is fully extended(and then some).

Default You should really have someone there to help you, so you don't break that adjuster ring (grey part)

You should have two flat screwdrivers to push the springs back, pick any two of the three openings where to adjust the ring from. The reason you need two people is because once you have the springs pushed back, you have to release the pressure on the pressure plate fingers, and that is hard to do if you've already got both hands in use.
