Advice Needed: In the past two weeks i have had my car throw codes...
and the check engine light comes on. This has happened four separate times. Every time i have the local dealer look at it (because i have 100k warrenty and don't want to mess with pulling codes myself because of this) they tell me its not a big deal and reset the codes. I ask what the codes are or what the problem could be, but all i can get out of them is "its not a big deal" and a shoulder shrug. On one of the occasions however a breather hose was replaced under warrenty. The car does seem a bit sluggish under 3rd gear pulls. Also the only "engine mod" i have is a chip and before every trip to the dealer i put the stock ECU in.
I'm wondering if their could be bigger problems they either don't want to fix and or don't want to tell me? TIA
