Advice Needed on Suspension
I live in NJ, so you can understand the quality (or lack thereof) of some of the roads.
I am happy with the dampening and height of the 2002 S4, so not looking for aesthetics. I am looking to stiffen her up in the handling dept, but do not want to harshen the ride (or even lower it).
Many have cited coilover kits, other said forget that, just get a 19mm sway (on medium), and that will fix me up.
As many have the same questions here, please those with various setups, let us know your benefits and negatives to each setup...and how it affects THE EVERYDAY DRIVER.
Thanks to all.

19mm swaybar is a potential for your goals.
I used that solution for about 6 months and it offers a very reasonable ride while taking some of the body roll out in turns. You will notice bumps in the ride a little more given that you are losing some of the rear wheel independence, but it's still a nice ride. This has no impact on the S4's propensity to dive during braking and rear end squat when accelerating - the swaybar only changes body roll.
A main calling card of this upgrade is that it is much cheaper than a suspension upgrade.
