Default New pressure plates from SPEC come with a spacer ring to allow the use of unmodified OEM TOBs.

I've been VERY happy with my SPEC 3+ that is mated with a (new) OEM flywheel.

Default always had a filter - either OEM or K&N cone (inside airbox). Here are the turbos at 81k miles

81k on passenger turbo (143k on car):

118k on passenger turbo (180k on car):

Default yeah....

From when I inquired about exactly that earlier this month

"The bearing that you received has actually superseded the clipped plate that your friend received. This is not due to any short coming of the clip...but rather, is another way of doing the same thing. Because you have an earlier plate you would not be able to use the clip anyway. The disc differences are again part of the evolution of the product. Neither is worse or better...they are simply different designs that develop over time."
