After bodywork ... do you have to wait to wash or wax car?

at least 6 months. When you wax a car it seal the pourisness in the paint. When you freshly paint a car the paint has to release the fumes. Thus if you wax it you seal this in and the paint never fully hardens. In some cases i have seen where it causes the paint to lift. My friends shop has a paint baker where after you paint the car you set the timer and it is like a huge oven this bakes the paint on and helps it cure faster. I would just recommend washing it with water no soap or abrasive cleaners. The more it sits in the sun the better and faster the paint will cure. Hope this helps.
