Default You can usually wash it but I would not recomend waxing it for (more)

at least 6 months. When you wax a car it seal the pourisness in the paint. When you freshly paint a car the paint has to release the fumes. Thus if you wax it you seal this in and the paint never fully hardens. In some cases i have seen where it causes the paint to lift. My friends shop has a paint baker where after you paint the car you set the timer and it is like a huge oven this bakes the paint on and helps it cure faster. I would just recommend washing it with water no soap or abrasive cleaners. The more it sits in the sun the better and faster the paint will cure. Hope this helps.

Default As far as i know it is paint in general does not matter on what type of car or what type of paint

I am assuming it is base coat clear coat.
