Default After reflecting on my NASA weekend and driving my S4 the past 3 days

I love this car. IMO there really are very few cars that can do what a well set up Stage 3 B5 S4 can. Go to a track day and walk on ZO6's, vipers and others then change tires and go to daily driving. Really the ultimate sleeper that can own pretty much 99% of the cars in any given circumstance. We really are a lucky bunch to own such a fine versatile car.

I was given a ride in my car this morning by a professional driver and in the hands of someone really qualified it only gets better. But still makes the average track driver look like a hero. Oh and he did not get crazy in my car... just was so smooth with all of his inputs that the car always felt planted. He had recently tested the new ZO6 for a TV show and commented that the S4 felt faster. But he did say that traction in the new ZO6 was a huge issue. On a side note he was able to pull a 1/4 mile in 11.6 or.7, can't recall exactly but it was one of those.

Anyway that is all.... enjoy your cars.

Oh and a pic:^)

Default Who was the pro driver? What was the difference in lap times between him and you?

Just curious. Riding around with pros driving is a lot of fun.

Default Was not on the track and I did not time myself this weekend as they do not allow

transponders in HPDE 3 (or jsut dont turn it on) I was going to borrow Pat's to find out.

It was on some back country roads near my house. Chip Herr drove the car. He use to have a B5 S4 and now has a B6 A4 ultrasport 1.8T.
