Default after-run switch question: what're the differences between part Nos:

025 906 041 A
and
021 919 369

The tech article lists the latter, yet I have the former here sitting in my tool box.

They will both fit and connect, are visually twins (both blue) but I know that doesn't mean they're interchangeable.

They were both used on the old 12V VR6 in the older Eurovan and Winnobega Rialtas (thanks, google). The 025 906 041A was the coolant temp sensor for the injectors, and the 021 919 369 was used for the fans.

I was wondering if this 041A would work for the after-run mod.

Default find the etka description of both, it will have temperatures it turns on and off listed

they need to have the same operation "style" in order to work.

for example heres the screen for the euro van one:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/143/eurovansensor.jpg">

see the "93/88C"?

i think the sensor goes on at 93 and stays on until it cools to 88.

unless the sensor you want to use functions in the same way, i.e. the same syntax in the description, it wont work.
