Default There is an 8 disc changer that works...

It's made by Panasonic. Although I heard that, discs 7 and 8 aren't accessible directly. You may have to run it continuously from disc 6 due to limitations on the stock head unit.

checkout <a href="www.clairparts.com">Clairparts</a> or <a href="http://store.autotoys.com/cgi-bin/wfp53024.storefront/3b154d2f003a286c274dd8f5a5060624/Catalog/1051">Autotoys OEM section</a>

Default I was going to get the 8 disc but didn't want to have

two discs that I can't select through..so I opted for the standard 6 disc.

Strat uses a panasonic with a cable to connect the changer to the stereo. Clair uses the actual OEM cd changer because they are an audi dealership and wholsale parts reseller.

I ordered mine from Clair, just because I heard there might be some issues with the cable strat sells in the 2001 S4's. And the difference was only $10.<ul><li><a href="http://www.clairparts.com/">Clair Parts</a></li></ul>

Default Screw AutoToys (rant)

I acquired a Panasonic auto phone mute box through them. They didn't list on the website (until later) that the unit didn't work with CDMA phones. Anyway, so I got it, saw the problem, and brought it to their attention. They said they'd send me an RMA (which never materialized.), even though I pestered them several times over the issue. Anyway, I took the issue up with my credit card company.
