Default Afterrun Coolant Pump DIY (stfa/tech section) quick ?- I want part # 021 919 369 - blue right?

Sorry to "beat a dead horse to death"...however, this is the same part as shown on the ECS link "After Run Coolant Pump Thermal Switch 93?C(198?F) With O-ring ES#3326" ?

tia,

also, ive been getting much more comfortable wrenching myself...assuming i take time this isn't that hard to do? (i can do oil change, change air filters, etc. - - very basic stuff)

http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&engine=2.7

Default make sure to change it when the car is cool

or you might get burned by the coolant. it's best to order another retaining clip, since they are plastic and break quite easily. i believe the sensor comes w/ a new o-ring, but make sure.

it's an easy diy, gl.

ps - ignore the green circle.

Default I hope you didnt already order it from ECS

ECS charges $54.XX for that switch. PureMS sells it for ~$25.

http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=2243</a

Default PureMS is good people - just be aware that the switch you get may be black instead of blue

but they are the same. I have a black switch and I haven't had any problems and I can hear the afterrun pump kick in every time I bring the car up to normal operating temperature.

Also don't forget to order a new clip and o-ring!!!

I hate to see a fellow S4 owner pay double
