ha. no...but that would be fun.
When you chop the throttle, the turbo still takes a few seconds to spin down. It's spinning when you are idling. I'm just saying, i don't pull into a parking space and turn it off immediately after the car stops. Some turbo cars have a gravity fed reservoir of oil to feed the turbo after the engine shuts off for this reason.

I think we're being a little extreme here.
There really is no reason to idle unless you've been in boost.
But, if you want to be over-safe, keep doing it. No harm done other than taking time.
I typically pull into my space and shutoff after about 1-2 seconds. I park 3 floors down in a parking garage, so my car has been out of boost for about a minute before I park.

I have 270k miles on my original turbo in the 200 and 255k miles original in the 5000.
I regularly shut the 200 off while I'm still rolling into the parking space. How about that? lol.

Not everyone lives in an underground car park! It is always possible for
owners to switch off immediately after a hard run - that is what we are trying to avoid afterall. You'll be telling us you don't have the after-run pump mod next- LOL!
