AHHHH one last emergency...can you get into canada with a us drivers license still?

AHHHH one last emergency...can you get into canada with a us drivers license still?
somehow we are missing one passport (not mine) and we really have to leave..i know you used to be able to enter canada on just a drivers license..we are just driving through a small portion over to detroit? what say you all?

I just went over, you must have a license and birth certificate/passport,
you have got to prove your birthplace, you must have 2 pieces..hopefully that will help..good luck coming back in us customs=D**K's

You can get in no problem, but coming back you may have a problem
I live in Ann Arbor MI, Last time I came back from Windsor ON into Detroit, I only had my liscense and got detained for a while. If you can bring your birth certificate, you'll be ok
