Airbag question: can you disable the front passenger-side airbag?

Airbag question: can you disable the front passenger-side airbag?
I know you are sposed' to 'keep em in the back,' but sometimes I like to let my son ride up front. I can do this in my Wrangler (it has the airbag disable feature). Anyone know???

In Europe there is a standard option which allows you to disable the front passenger's air bag. I don't know about North America. Do you have a lock inside you glove box? If you do this will enable/disable the airbag.
