Default Alignment problem: dealer blames in on my transmission brace

My car was pulling to the right and wearing out tires. Got new tires and took it in for an alignment. They aligned it and gave me grief about my transmisson brace claiming it would "ruin the alignment". Total hogwash.

Gee, I had the brace on the car since it had 500 miles on it and now 22,000 miles later it's suddenly to blame? Ironically, THEY installed it. Dealers must spend hours dreaming up ways to weasel out of actually fixing it right. Is there a class? "How to Weasel 101"?

So I get the car back and it STILL pulls to the right. I'm taking it back in tomorrow and I'm positive it's gonna suck. I wonder what line of BS their going to give me.

I hate dealers.

Default what type of tires and are they directional?

if not directional have them swap the fronts. I had a similar experience with my present tires. It was more of a drift to the right instead of a pull... but after swaping the fronts it's gone.

Default Tell the stealer that in the future he'll blame his own...

neck brace you'll be "installing" if the prat screws it up again! Sorry to hear this mishap. I refuse to use the stealer for anything but last minute parts when I can't wait for shipping. Useless tosspot (Bollocks, that was for you)!

Brand new S03s. Pulled with the old tires too. It's not "radial tire pull".

They go to Germany for "factory training" at WeaselFest.

Default Take the car to a high end wheel/tire shop and get a guy who makes cars straight everyday - not

the brainless fool who may be the same guy who washes your car at the dealer.

why are you taking it to the dealer? I can't imagine it falls under warranty.

Yep, warranty paid for the alignment.

If they can't align the car correctly, it could be one of tie rod ends shot.
