Are all five positions in the MAF's plug (from the car's side) wired?

While cleaning the MAF's connections I pulled back the rubber protector on the plug and found wire to position #5 cut and no pin in #5. Is this normal? FWIW I have a 01' car with Hitachi MAF.

Thanks man. I'm trying to find out wtf is wrong w my MAF, I'll rule this one out.
