$220 for each piston , $1400 set of Rods , and $450 for hardware

and a new headgasket kit + install : )

Sounds quite reasonable actually...

How much do the stock parts cost? Not that much less I would think.

I guess you'd also want to have the crank checked carefully.

Any cam work?

And I would think it would not be that cheap to have the heads flowed.

Can anything be done to better flow the exhust? That always seems pretty bad to me.

All in all, not a lot for what would be a first-rate engine.
