Default For all those interested in Zimmerman Cross-drilled rotors.

Here's the email I received from Jose at porttuning.com regarding Zimmerman cross-drilled rotor availability:

"Hello guys, we are finally getting someone on the Zimmerman X-drilled rotors. Zimmerman has finally completed the X-drilled rotors for the 99-02 Audi S4. It will take 4-6 weeks from Germany. The front rotors will go for $72.00ea. and the rear $78.00ea. I'm not sure how most you are going to use your car, but I just found out that the VW/Audi road racers are switching from Zimmerman X-drilled to ATE Power Disc(slotted). The advantage of the Power disc over the X-drilled is no cracking. Under road racing conditions, X-drilled rotors will crack at the holes. However, if your just looking for the X-drilled look with some Auto-X than these will be great. See the prices below.

Audi 99-02 S4 (Front 321mm and Rear 245mm vented)

Zimmerman X-drilled front...$72.00ea...4-6 weeks from Germany
Zimmerman X-drilled rear....$78.00ea...4-6 weeks from Germany

ATE Power disc front.........$65.00ea....1 week in the USA
ATE Power disc rear..........$68.00ea....1 week in the USA

Since none of my warehouses are planning on stocking these rotors, I to place a special order. Before I commit myself to 13 to 15 of rotors. I need to how many of you are still interested, and are willing to put 50% down? I also need to known if you want all four and what brand?

Thank you
Jose Rotger

Default Interesting, will the appearance of the ATE rears match the Sportec slotted rotors

I am upgrading to slotted Stoptechs up front -- thought it would make the package look more complete with a set of slotted rotors to replace the stock rears. Any pics of the ATE rears?

Default I'll buy the Zimmerman front + rear set...

but there's no way I'm gonna give someone I've
never done business with in the past 50 percent
up front.
If the business is doing ok, they won't have
a problem ordering a mere 15 sets of rotors.

In case the guy isn't aware, a LOT of people
have asked about X drilled or slotted rotors
in stock sizes around here, and for about $300/set,
they'll definitely sell.
