I had the same code - it was the gas cap!

Default I will check that today... but if not... could it be that I got gas last night...

if the hose is ok or just coincidence?

Default I usually tighten it to two clicks... should I turn the cap 'till it clicks or no?

What do you do?

This is a funny post... so trivial!

Yep, turn it until it clicks and you should be good to go.

Default I was under the impression you had a CE for awhile

if your ce just came on then I'd say maybe it has to do with your gas cap, but if it's been on for awhile then this is a likely culprit. Either way it's worth checking. At least wrap it in foil b/c it will be a problem sooner or later.

Default I have a CE light... but it just came on this morning for the first time...

So I read it with my VAG... and this is what I got for the first time ever... so hopefully it's just the cap... but I'll check and wrap the hose you guys pointed out when I get out of work today.

thanks again.

Joe
