yeah, i'm crossing my fingers. since it was on a downshift i'm hoping the belt just slipped
not sure if there is anything i can check without bringing it to a shop, waiting till sunday evening... or buying just enough tools to pull the front clip and use a golf club to check the timing
i was also smart enough to push the car into the garage front-end in, where there is about 3' of clearance above the hood (it doesn't even open all the way), and i forgot to pull my motorcycle out (s4 blocked it in) so i have no transportation

experienced the same thing this past weekend.
It wasn't raining that hard but the car felt like it was falling apart. Any remedies for this that you know of? This is with HRE 540R 19x9.5.
