Alright since everyone is bashing that dude about beating a sti with a stock s4, i have a story....

i have some credability so at least mine is true.
I was running:
GIAC X
91 oct gas
K03's
RS4 Clutch
DPs w/ NO CATS
UUC VM1
NO INTAKE
NO MBC
He was running:
02 WRX
EBC
ECuTek CHip
100 Oct
HEADS, CAMS
Downpipe, Uppipe and he said (midpipe)?
full suspensnon
light wheels
cat back exahust
no cats
and was adjusting the timing via computer
he had injectors and intake and stuff, but stock turbo
He ran me a bunch of times and i got him by 1-2 cars every time. he was a bit faster than my frineds stock sti when they raced the same evening. I am just saying, theres no way in hell that guy beat a fully raced out wrx with a stock s4. lol
oh and when the wrx i raced had 91 oct fuel map on, i could be dead even with him, maybe pull a little when i had my chip turned off. so that would be just full exhaust on my car even with him. Moral of the story.....Subarus with stock turbos are SLOW.

DP + MP = Turbo Back (prolly no cats). Up-pipe is from the exh. mani to the turbo.
For some reason Subaru stuck a mini catalytic converter inbetween the exhaust manifold and the turbo.
Up-Pipe is a GREAT mod on WRX's.

I don't get how you guys think he's lying, first question, were you there, no. Why would someone post a forum and lie about it. Maybe the guy in the STI was a horrible driver. Cant tell someone they're lying when you didn't see it, trust me it could be done. My experience with STI's is little but i have been in them, a kid from GRD performance has an STI with close to 500awhp and he cant ever hook up, a stock s4 would kill the kid because he spins so damn much. You never know. It could always happen.
