Good idea to do P&P on older style Intake Manifold vs. new style Intake Manifold because the new ones flow better?
Would P&P only on older style Intake Manifold yield any reasonable HP or lower IAT in the big picture?

a 2000 year box manifold for the there first production car (they have since switched to a NA and supercharged motor ineup for reliablity reasons (go figuere) but back to early car. they first were using a standard RS4 manifold on their prototypes, but when the production car was reaslesed, they reverted back to an 00MY, I wonder what they did to it and the reasons behind the switch that made them feel it was a better (why else?) alternative than the later versions.
plus they even went through all the work of getting an 00 to mate with an RS4 TB and bipipe setup... plus open it up to deal with the larger 2.8 heads it runs... seems like a lot of thought was put into the car so there must be a good reason behind the switch.
