Default You are limp. Dont need a CEL. You will have a PosDeviation code on the ECU.

Check the TBB, and BPVs first. Then the lines, etc..

A bad EGT sensor will also put you into limp w/o a CEL.

Already check tbb, f-hose and all hoses I can reach. Nothing bad

Any reason it will just boost fine the 1st time when under boost.

Default Yep, the ECU will act normal until the code/DTC is recorded after a restart. Every time you cycle

the car it will allow the ECU to try to act normal, until it catches itself again.

Need to VagCom it to see what code is causing the limp mode condition. The ones I have seen have been from a leak(Positive Deviation code). Guessing something else could be causing it but symptoms sound characteristic of a boost leak to me. Maybe vag it and report back? Could pressure check as well...
